public lecture: "Haridas Chaudhuri's Vision of Integral Education" by Joseph Subbiondo
Joseph Subbiondo is the President of CA Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, originally founded by Dr. Haridas Chaudhuri in 1968 as the CA Institute of Asian Studies. A gifted orator and philosopher, Dr. Chaudhuri was nominated in 1950 by Sri Aurobindo to come to the Bay Area to teach. In this lecture, Subbiondo will outline Integral Education's foundation on the body-mind-spirit continuum as the lens through which human being-ness must be understood, and will emphasize its growing presence in U.S. higher education.
