The Mother: The Font of Transformation

Lecture by Kundan Singh. Despite the much maligned and exotic usage of Tantra, it is essentially a system that works with the force of the Divine Mother. Anyone who is devoted and has surrendered to the Divine Mother is a Tantrika. The goal of Tantra is liberation and transformation, and it is the Divine Mother who is at the center of the transformation that Tantra promises. In this talk, Singh will refute the essential equation of Tantra with sexuality and focus on the Divine Mother as the font and spring of psycho-spiritual transformation. Singh is an associate core faculty at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. He is a practitioner of Integral Yoga of the Mother and Sri Aurobindo. He is the author of "The Evolution of Integral Yoga: Sri Aurobindo, Sri Ramakrishna, and Swami Vivekananda," and many other writings on the topic of spirituality and postmodern philosophy.
